Craig Hamilton-Parker, the British medium known online as the "Prophet of Doom," has shared a detailed and bleak set of predictions centred on 2028, following a track record he says includes several accurate forecasts of major world events.
His track record so far
Hamilton-Parker has claimed to have previously predicted Donald Trump's 2016 election win, the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the COVID-19 pandemic, and King Charles's cancer diagnosis before it became public. Sceptics argue his predictions are vague enough to match broad historical patterns, while his followers point to what they see as consistent accuracy over the years. Worth noting: none of this is independently verifiable, and predictions framed broadly enough can appear accurate in hindsight regardless of genuine foresight.
The 2028 warning
In a recent YouTube livestream, Hamilton-Parker clarified that his predicted global conflict wouldn't happen this year, as some reports had suggested, but rather in late 2028. He described envisioning a confrontation between the US and China centred on Taiwan, triggered by a global financial crisis around the time of that year's US election. He speculated the crash could stem from an AI market bubble bursting or a collapse in Bitcoin.
According to his prediction, the resulting economic damage would hit China particularly hard, sparking domestic unrest and potential rebellion against the government, which he believes would then look outward toward Taiwan to distract from internal instability.
His prediction about Trump
Hamilton-Parker also predicted that the resulting chaos would lead to Donald Trump remaining in office for an unprecedented third term, citing an appeal to emergency powers as the mechanism, though he was clear that he doesn't foresee the conflict escalating into nuclear war.
Other predictions
Beyond the US-China conflict, Hamilton-Parker also forecast major natural disasters, a serious UK budget crisis, and global food shortages by the end of the decade.
