Lin Lamar, better known online as Pinkchyu or the Goth Baddie, has responded to widespread allegations on social media that she wears a breastplate, a sculptural upper-body garment designed to accentuate the chest, by posting a series of videos that have largely put the debate to rest.
Pinkchyu shot to mainstream fame after winning Drake's 20 v 1 dating challenge, in which the Canadian rapper chose her from a group of 20 potential partners. She has remained in the public eye ever since, appearing in Drake's FOMO livestream last week and telling TMZ that the rapper's promise to buy her mother a house is "in the works." She recently also revealed in a podcast appearance that she considers herself a virgin despite her bold online persona.
The breastplate allegations had been building for some time across X, with users commenting on videos of her appearances and claiming her chest movement suggested artificial enhancement. Comments included observations that things were "not jiggling with the forced bouncing" in ways that seemed inconsistent with natural anatomy.
Pinkchyu's initial response was to post a video of herself in a black bikini bouncing up and down in the comments of one of the posts, captioning it simply: "Not a breastplate btw."
She then took matters further with a series of standalone posts on her X page, showing herself in the same bikini, including footage taken in a swimming pool, moving around freely to demonstrate her point. One post read: "Haters will still say I'm wearing a breastplate," while another simply stated: "They're real."
She also addressed what the next allegation might be in advance, posting a video showing off the length of her tongue with the caption: "What's next, I'm wearing a tongue plate?"
The consensus online is that she has made her point convincingly.
