British Nigerian influencer Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo, 43, has died following complications from a cosmetic procedure carried out during a vacation in Thailand, according to a UK coroner's report.

What happened

Ubiribo was in Bangkok with his wife, Daniella Simba Allen, when he underwent the procedure on 5 March. Afterwards, while receiving a massage, he began experiencing chest pain and repeatedly lost consciousness before being taken to Sukhumvit Hospital. According to TMZ, he was unable to answer questions coherently upon arrival and died from a pulmonary embolism before staff could carry out a CT scan to diagnose it. Doctors reportedly performed CPR on him for more than 100 minutes.

The coroner's findings

A UK coroner's postmortem examination determined that hyaluronic acid and lidocaine used during the procedure caused the fatal embolism.
