Bonnie Blue has announced she will be auctioning off her newborn baby's name next week, describing the decision as a financial investment in her child's future and inviting the highest bidder to choose what the baby will be called for the rest of their life.
The adult content creator, whose real name is Tia Billinger, gave birth last month via C-section at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London. She is now 27. The baby's paternity remains unknown, with three men having publicly stated they could potentially be the father following her February breeding event, which she claims was attended by around 400 men.
In a video shared to Instagram, Bonnie explained her reasoning in characteristically blunt terms.
"My baby is not going to be like you, living off benefits and claiming unseen disabilities," she said. "So, next week, I'm going to auction off my baby's name, just so it stays in a higher tax bracket than you."
In a since-deleted TikTok, she framed the decision differently: "They say invest in your future and that's exactly what I did by having a baby. So, to make my investment worthwhile, I'm going to auction off its name."
The announcement comes amid significant ongoing public concern about her conduct since giving birth. She has faced backlash for returning to shooting adult content with her newborn present, posting a viral video with a baby doll and masked men that drew international condemnation, and claiming the standard six-week post-birth recovery rule did not apply to her because she had a C-section rather than a vaginal birth, a claim doctors disputed.
Bonnie has pushed back against suggestions her baby is at risk.
"My baby is loved, protected and incredibly well looked after," she said in a statement. "Becoming a mum hasn't changed the fact that I'm Bonnie Blue, but I know exactly where Bonnie ends and being a mum begins."
She has also insisted: "My baby will never be in 18+ content."
The auction is expected to take place next week. No reserve price or minimum bid has been publicly announced.
