On Wednesday, 23 September, the @teamtrump Instagram account shared a post featuring an image of Trump alongside the claim that zero undocumented immigrants had crossed the border in over 16 months, using Swift's song "Father Figure" as the audio. The song has since been removed from the post, with the video now muted and displaying the message: "This song can't be played because it's currently unavailable." Fans reacted strongly to the removal, with one commenting: "Why does he keep doing things like that? He's so obsessed with her," and another writing: "Oh ffs they are ridiculous, constantly using her for engagement."
Part of a wider pattern
